OLEUM PRIMUM DALMATICUM – Four Dalmatian counties raising the quality standard of extra virgin olive oil together – Dalmatian oil is ULTRA VIRGIN

Dalmatian olive growers from all four counties gathered in Novigrad to further strengthen the quality standard of olive oil through the Oleum Primum Dalmaticum initiative and the ULTRA VIRGIN brand label.

A two-day meeting of Dalmatian olive growers was held in Novigrad at the Oleum Primum Dalmaticum Education Center, bringing together representatives of associations and family farms (OPGs) from all four Dalmatian counties. Among the participants were also members of the Ultra Extra Association, the founders of the Oleum Primum Dalmaticum Club.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the further development and strengthening of olive oil quality standards, brand label ULTRA VIRGIN with the aim to further highlight the outstanding quality of Dalmatian olive oils and provide consumers with clearer guidance on the market.

We would like to especially congratulate Uljara Sv. Ivan Vodice, OPG Uroda, and OPG Laurenta on receiving the ULTRA VIRGIN brand label within the Oleum Primum Dalmaticum brand label. These recognitions confirm the dedication, knowledge, and quality created by Dalmatian olive growers.

We also thank the host, Dr. Ivica Vlatković, for his hospitality and for organizing this important gathering that further connects Dalmatian olive growers.

It is important that as many producers as possible join this initiative so that together we can build a strong standard and an even stronger recognition of premium Dalmatian olive oil.
